MyMemories digital scrapbook

My friends at MyMemories have been SO generous to give me.... So there is this super cool app on the iphone....Miss VanMeter turned me on a few months ago...and I LOVE IT!! Such a fun way to make photo mosaics. Thought I would make a few with my flowers....ENJOY! And get inspired ;)

Wow..its been way too long since my last blog, but finally had some time to share photos of my favorite little couple.  Lexi and Reid are so perfect together and they radiate love and happiness!!!!  They had a simple yet fun and playful wedding in Lewisville, TX.  Wishing the best of luck to my Lovely Lewisville Farmers ;)

Recently the beautiful Miranda Fulton wed her high school and college sweetheart Patrick Dean at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Tx.  The church was gorgeous and her bridesmaids just as pretty and fresh as Miranda.  I had the amazing opportunity to work with Robert Payne Photography just hours before I dropped off the flowers to the church.  Robert Payne is a local photographer with a studio in old town Lewisville.  He specializes in weddings, senior portraits, family photos, baptisms, you name the event and he can capture the magic. I can't believe the wedding of Ashley & Jarrett has already come and gone.  It was a BEAUTIFUL celebration of love with close friends and family at an amazing AND perfect venue.  We wined, dined, and danced the night away, then sent the happy couple on their way.

I want to thank Ashley and Jay for letting RLove designs be apart of their special day, I had an amazing team of sisters to help me out throughout the weekend and we are so very happy with the outcome of the wedding flowers.

And by the way Ash, EVERYONE has loved your color combo!! I have received nothing but fabulous reviews :)

Lauren & Thomas 11-11-11

I recently had the pleasure to meet with Lauren Reed, the sister of a junior high friend of mine. Branson was so sweet to mention my floral services to his newly engaged sister back in October.  After months of emailing and facebooking we finally met to discuss the flower details, we both agreed to feeling like we already knew each other!! She is such a pretty, and sweet woman, and I am excited to be apart of Thomas and her big day!!!!

Lauren and Thomas are getting married in an outdoor country setting in November and have chosen hot pink hues for their wedding colors.  Pink is such a fun color, and works so well with a variety of other colors.  We have chosen to do the bouquets in shades of pink mixed in with green...this wedding is going to be so pretty!!

Here is what we are thinking for the big day!! ( I have been terrible about citing pictures I find on the web, but have no fear I will be giving full credit to the other florists from now on!!!)

  Lauren loves hot pink Callas!! We will incorporate pink callas, pink finesse garden roses, pink gerbera daises, mini green hydrangeas, super green roses, green hypericum berries

Spring has SPRUNG

After the last frost, as the temperature increases into the 70's and when the Bradford pears, and Mexican plums start blooming something magical happens in my heart... I just love spring!! Im obsessed. Maybe because I was born in the beautiful month of May, maybe because my mother is an avid gardener, maybe it's that my Balinese zodiac sign is a sunflower, or maybe that i'm just obsessed with anything that is living, green, and blooms!!?Anyways I just can't get enough of Spring!

 Even though we don't have true seasons here in Texas, and it seems that right after our last frost temperatures jump into the 80's, and 90's and we are all ready to hop into our tiny bikinis to soak up the sun;Spring symbolizes rebirth, regrowth, and renewal an essential part of any living beings life. I feel refreshed as seedlings begin to sprout out of the soil, as butterflies awaken from their winter nap, and Im able to dance barefoot through the garden.

Last week before I headed out on a quick vacation to Miami, I stopped by Lowe's home and garden center to pick up some seed packets and buy a few potted plants.

Planting a few myself!!!
